Core Technology is the foundation of modern warfare in the Armored Sector. These ancient energy constructs, first discovered near Saturn, reshaped humanity’s future by enabling the creation of FRAME systems—modular war machines capable of operating far beyond conventional limits.

Unlike traditional reactors, Cores do not produce static power. They emit harmonic resonance, a volatile energy that responds to conflict, pressure, and intent. As combat intensifies, a Core’s output grows stronger, amplifying weapon systems, mobility, and defensive capabilities. The more dangerous the battlefield, the more lethal the Core becomes.

Embedded within many Cores are fragmented data matrices—ancient weapon blueprints encoded directly into the resonance itself. These blueprints cannot be accessed through standard computation. Instead, they must be decoded through synchronization with a FRAME, allowing Pilots to unlock advanced energy weapons, experimental modules, and rare combat systems otherwise lost to time. Each recovered blueprint represents a piece of forgotten technology, often pushing FRAME design beyond known engineering limits.

This power comes at a cost. Core resonance is inherently unstable and cannot be fully controlled by machines alone. While FRAME systems are designed to regulate the energy flow, true stability depends on the Pilot. Some individuals possess a rare natural affinity for Core frequencies, allowing them to synchronize more deeply with their FRAME. When alignment occurs, reaction times sharpen, systems respond instinctively, and machine and Pilot operate as a single entity. Without proper alignment, resonance overload can cripple both FRAME and operator.

Core Technology defines faction dominance, fuels the arms race across the Solar System, and shapes the outcome of every major conflict. It is more than a power source—it is a legacy weapon, a repository of lost knowledge, and the deciding force behind who rises and who falls in the Armored Sector.
